Fluorine-lined filter

Structural characteristics 

 1. Main structure: usually composed of shell, filter, import and export takeover and supporting parts, etc. The shell is generally made of carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials to ensure that it has sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the pressure in the system. 

 2. Fluoroplastic lining: Parts in direct contact with corrosive fluids, such as filters, filter inner walls, inner side of import and export takeover, etc., are tightly lined with fluoroplastics. Common ones include polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyperfluoroethylene propylene (FEP), etc. These fluoroplastics have extremely low friction coefficients, little resistance when fluid flows in the filter, and strong chemical stability, which can resist the erosion of various strong acids, strong alkalis and a variety of organic solvents. 

 3. Filter design: The filter is usually made of metal as the supporting skeleton, and the surface is lined with fluoroplastic, which not only ensures the strength of the filter, but also uses the anti-corrosion properties of fluoroplastic to ensure that the filter can work stably for a long time in a corrosive environment. The number of filter meshes can range from dozens of mesh to thousands of mesh according to actual needs. 

 4. Sealing device: installed in each connection part of the filter, such as the connection between the import and export takeover and the pipe, the connection between the filter cover and the main body, etc. Commonly used sealing materials include fluororubber, polytetrafluoroethylene gaskets, etc., which have excellent corrosion resistance and can work together with fluoroplastic linings to form a reliable sealing structure. 

 Operating principle 

 When the corrosive fluid containing impurities flows in from the inlet of the filter and enters the internal space of the filter, due to the blocking of the filter, the fluid is forced to pass through the pores of the filter. Impurities, particles and suspended matter are intercepted on the inside of the filter, while the clean fluid flows out of the outlet through the filter and enters the downstream pipeline system. 

 Technical parameter 

 Working pressure: conventional ≤1.6MPa, special working conditions can be customized up to 2.5MPa. 

 Temperature resistance range: Depending on the type of fluoroplastic, it is generally -20℃~+150℃, and PTFE can withstand 260℃. 

 Filtration accuracy: 5-100μm, depending on the media grade, the combination of fine sand + activated carbon can reach 5μm.

Product Application Scope

Especially suitable for work environments where the allowable pressure difference is small and the allowable leakage is also small, and the pressure difference is not significant.
