Overview: 

 The American standard flange gate valve (copper) is a type of gate valve that conforms to American standards (such as ANSI/ASME B16.1, B16.34, etc.), uses copper and copper alloy as the core valve body material, and is installed through flange connection. It is mainly used to control the on-off of liquids (such as water, oil, weakly corrosive solutions, etc.). It is a common cut-off valve in industrial pipeline systems, especially suitable for medium and low pressure scenarios that have certain requirements for material corrosion resistance and sealing reliability. 

 Pressure level: Class 150 (PN2.0MPa), Class 300 (PN5.0MPa) 

 Nominal caliber: NPS 1/2 (DN15) ~ NPS 12 (DN300) 

 Medium characteristics: water, oil, weak acid and alkali 

 Temperature range: - 20℃~120℃

Precautions for use and maintenance 

 Opening and closing operation: It is strictly forbidden to "open and close suddenly". During manual operation, you need to slowly turn the handwheel to avoid collision between the gate and the valve seat; the open rod gate valve needs to record the opening and closing stroke to avoid excessive opening and closing causing damage to the stem. 

 Media cleaning: Before installation, it is necessary to clean up the impurities in the pipe (such as welding slag and rust). You can install a filter in front of the valve to prevent the impurities from scratching the sealing surface. 

 Regular maintenance: Check whether the valve stem seal (filler letter) is leaking every 3 to 6 months. If there is leakage, it is necessary to tighten the packing cover or replace the packing (such as graphite packing and tetrafluoroethylene packing); after long-term deactivation, before opening, you need to turn the handwheel to lubricate the stem thread to avoid jamming. 

 Corrosion protection: If used in a humid or outdoor environment, it is necessary to regularly coat the valve body flange, handwheel and other parts with anti-rust paint (the copper valve body itself is rust-proof, but the connecting bolts and handwheels may be made of carbon steel).

These devices are suitable for accurately controlling media such as gases, liquids, steam, etc., and maintaining process parameters such as pressure, flow rate, temperature, and liquid level at given values. Especially suitable for work environments where the allowable pressure difference is small and the allowable leakage is also small, and the pressure difference is not significant.
