Forged steel threaded globe valve

The forged steel threaded shut-off valve refers to the shut-off valve made of forged steel and connected to the pipeline by threaded connection. It is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. 

 Structural characteristics 

 Valve body material: forged steel, such as A105 carbon steel, 304/316 stainless steel, etc., with tight texture and high strength, which can withstand high pressure and harsh working conditions. 

 Connection method: Threaded connection methods such as NPT, G or PT are usually used, which is easy to install and disassemble, and suitable for small-caliber pipes. 

 Valve cover design: There are three forms of bolted valve cover, welded valve cover and self-sealing valve cover, which can be selected according to different working conditions and sealing requirements. 

 Valve flap and valve seat: The sealing surface of the valve flap and valve seat has been precision processed, and metal-to-metal sealing or supplemented by sealing gaskets, which has good sealing performance and can effectively prevent fluid leakage. 

 Operating principle 

 By rotating the valve stem, the valve flap moves up and down, so as to control the opening and off of the fluid. When the valve flap rises, the fluid can flow out through the gap between the valve seat and the valve flap; when the valve flap falls and fits closely with the valve seat, the fluid is cut off.
