Forged steel butt welded gate valve

Forged steel butt-welding gate valve is a gate valve made of forged steel, integrated through welding connection (direct welding of the welding end and pipeline) and pipeline system. The core function is to realize the full open/full-close control of the medium under high-pressure and high-risk working conditions. Due to its high connection strength and reliable sealing, it is widely used in industrial harsh pipelines.

 ● Long service life: the forged material has good fatigue resistance, the cemented carbide sealing surface is wear-resistant, and the service life can reach more than 10 years under normal maintenance, which is much higher than that of ordinary cast steel valves.

Key points of selection and maintenance 

 1. The key to selection: 

 ● Select the material according to the characteristics of the medium (such as 316L for corrosive medium, F22 alloy steel for high temperature); 

 ● Choose the nominal pressure according to the pressure temperature (for example, Class 600 corresponds to PN100, and 1.2 times the safety coefficient should be left); 

 ● Choose the sealing form according to the sealing requirements (toxic media must choose bellows sealing). 

 2. Maintenance points: 

 ● Check the packing gland regularly. If there is a small amount of leakage, it is necessary to tighten the cover bolt appropriately (to avoid excessive tightening and causing the valve stem to be stuck); 

 ● Apply grease to the valve stem every 3-6 months (high-temperature grease, such as molybdenum disulfide, under high-temperature working conditions) to reduce lifting and lower wear; 

 ● Avoid the valve being in a "half-open" state for a long time, and rotate it in place when opening and closing (pay attention to the lifting limit of the stem for the open rod gate valve to prevent over-the-run damage).

Especially suitable for work environments where the allowable pressure difference is small and the allowable leakage is also small, and the pressure difference is not significant.
